I'll be changing the pace a bit this week by posting up my fourth annual fairy tale parody comic arc. This time around I'm paroding The Tale of Thousand Furs. Hope everyone will enjoy!
Christmas Cheer
In honor of Christmas I've decided to post up a series of Christmas comics I've done. Specifically one dealing with a running gag in Rainy Day Comics relating to gifts from Jared. This is based on my real friend Jared who has been my best buddy for years, but he always gives the worse gifts.
The very first comic I've ever made on this subject I think I'll spare as it is just so awfull looking now. (and that's saying something compared to my recent junk)
Basically in the original I got him a VHS of Dragon Ball Z Death Slug: Awesome Edition, and he gave me a DVD of figure skating...
I've exagerated a few of the comics, but several of items I
A Recipe For Art!
This is something from awhile back that I've wondered about a bit.
I've seen some people take pictures of foods they cooked and list the recipe they used to make it.
Would that really count as art though? I'm not sure how true it is but I've always heard these boogeyman tales that Deviant Art will get on your case if you post photos that aren't really art or whatever.
I'm reminded of it because lately I've been making up new recipes, often by accidently dropping in certain items in the mix and then the people who taste it go crazy for it.
For example, I accidently dropped a bunch of cheyanne pepper in chicken stir-fry awhile back, I could
Band Wagon Theater
First it was Harvest Moon, then 300 and Yu-Gi-Oh. Now Rainy Day Man's Jumping on the Band Wagon Theater is proud to present: Naruto Parodies!
That's right, I'm throwing my hat into the giant pile of hats that hs swallowedup the proverbial ring. Time for Naruto Rainy Day Style!
For my first batch I've come up with a short story called "Naruto's Quest for Love" a tale in 3 parts.
I've gotten some good responsives from individuals I've show these to so far and I hope others will enjoy them aswell.
Dark Side of the Moon
I've always enjoyed the video game series Harvest Moon by Natsume. The farming theme just really strikes a cord on me. Everytime I play it I get the feeling of wanting to move out to the country and I get a bit more motivation to work on my garden.
But as nice as Harvest Moon's lighthearted gameplay is, it also features a sinister dark side. Be it translation mistakes, computer errors, or just things that slipped through the cracks there are some really wierd things in some of these games if you look close enough. And I did look. :P
So I made up some comics with some of the things that have struck me over the years playing assorted Harvest
